Atelier Depoorter took part in the second season of Andermans Zaken, the programme in which Kamal Kharmach presents an analysis and guidance process for companies that have an urgent problem.
We were asked by Samy Depoorter to design a solution for an ergonomic sofa, allowing him to create a complete set-up for an ideal sitting position for his customers. It was important that the sofa’s seating height, depth, inclination, and backrest were freely adjustable and could be perfectly adapted to the customer’s body type.
Get to know the Ergo-Sit
We designed the Ergo-Sit for Zetelfabriek Depoorter (seat and sofa manufacturer), a modular sofa on which various cushion sizes can be mounted to create the ideal sitting position. Starting from reviewing the seat height, depth and angle settings, a perfectly tailor-made seat can be produced.
